The dogs are flanked by Hecataea pillars, one on each side of the offering box, each adorned with a diamanté gem to represent her torches. A key hangs from black lace above the shrine. The external measurements of the tin are 82 mm high, 52 mm wide and 16mm deep (3 1/4" x 2" x 1/3"), making it ideal for both discretion and portability.

The intricate design features a glitter card background adorned with daffodils and pomegranates, symbolising Persephone's dual nature as the bringer of spring and the ruler of the underworld. At the heart of door side of the shrine is a 3D decoupage skull, representing her reign over the dead. Surrounding the skull are four red jewels, with an additional two on the inside of the tin, symbolizing the six pomegranate seeds that bound Persephone to the underworld and sealed her fate as its Queen.
